Layers of Color Challenge...Roses

I own several stamps that are roses however this single stem rose is my favorite.  The stamp is by Art Impressions and the sentiment is by Embossing Arts Co.  Other materials used was patterned paper from Somerset that I took Amber Clay and Brush Rose Color Box Chalk Ink and inked around the edges of the paper rather heavily.  Bazzill  card stock and Hero Gemstones also was used to create this card.
Well back to packing up the camper, however when i saw this challenge I had to find reason to take a break and make a card. :)

Halloween Cards Simple and Fun

My intentions last night was not to make any cards but to straighten up my work station, however I ran across a Halloween image sitting on my desk.  That one image resulted in a series of  cards that are posted above.

Needless to say I never finished the job I intended to do, so with blinders on I'm off to clean my space and will see everyone in a week.  We are leaving for another camping trip to Hannibal, Mo. home of Mark Twin.

Our tentative Itinerary for this trip is to visit Mark Twain's boyhood home and museum,  do a trolley tour of Hannibal, have a dinner cruise on the Mississippi, tour Rockcliffe Mansion, see the Spratt Family Dinner show and hopefully get some relaxation  time in.

Simple Cards

Nothing like a simple card to brighten up a child's day.  I believe these Snoopy stamped images just might do that for my grandsons.

Thinking Pink With OBP

All stamps by Odd Bird Planet formally known as justjohanna stamps.  Card stock by Paper Company , patterned paper: SweetWater, embellishments: Karin Foster; ribbon and buttons unknown vendors.
Next month I'm going to be a grandmother for the 5 th time, and a few months later grandchild number 6 will make its debut.  I already have 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter so thinking pink will just even out the score with the girls.  However, either boy or girl they will be welcomed with open arms.

Layers of Color challenge...Yellow

After being away a few days on a camping trip to Michigan City, In. it felt good to sit down and play with some new stamps I had received.  The stamps came from my husband who purchased them on our camping trip as a surprise to me while I was out with the girls shopping in La Porte.  All the stamps he purchased are Snoopy riding different vehicles.

This weeks challenge at Layers of Color is to include one stamp and the color Yellow in ones artwork.   So I gave Snoopy a flaming hot paint job on his bike.
