18 Days on the Road....

What we did the past 18 days...Our trip started out by going to Kentuckiana Campground in Hopedale, Il in which we met up with 2 other Illinois Winnebago Groups for a weekend of fun and games. Our next stop was to the Amana Colonies in Amana, Ia were we toured the town and purchased some fine pastries. We then ventured off to Clear Lake, Ia. and revisited the Surf Ballroom & Museum were the Music Lives On.
We finally reach our finally destination 9 days later in Forest City, Ia. to attend the WITstock Rally. As I mentioned in a previous post WITstock is an annual Rally in which Winnebago-Itasca Travelers get together. During that time entertainment is provided, seminars are given, tours are planned, the local town has a parade and arts and crafts booths are set up to mention a few of the activities that are planned for us to take part in.
Illinois State decorations for the row party, we served black cows (root beer and ice cream drink to all who stopped by)
Pancake breakfast held in a hanger and several small crafted pilots flew in and had breakfast with us one morning.
Entertainment: Pictured the WIT singers, however on a professional level we were entertained by: The Challengers, American Big Band, Barber Shop, Journeymen, Southern Missouri, Bluegrass (Jimmy Travis), Folk & Fun, American Pie, The Classics (Rock & Roll Show), Jukebox Memories (Andrew Waleach) Oklahoma Balladeer (les Gilliam) and Forgiven Quartet.

Camp fire and the Burning of the bra's..... Friends who marched in the parade dressed in costume.
Jerry and I wishing you Peace......
