Tri-Fold Card

Bouncing from blog to blog some of the ladies are showing samples of Trifold cards by Cami from Spitcoast stampers. This is my take on her challenge and instructions.

Instructions are simple:
1. score card stock at 3 1/2 in. and 7 in.
2. prefold scores, right panel will be sightly larger
3. punch a semicircle on the sightly larger part
4. punch or cut out a window in the middle panel
5. position an image (stamped or sticker) to inside of the card to show through the window
Finished size of this card is 6 1/2" x 12 "

Using Up Scraps

What do we do with the scraps left over from cards we had made? Most of the time I toss them, for I was being buried in patterned paper. At times I just can't seem to toss them so I have a couple of sketches that let me put the paper back into circulation on my design desk. Here is a sample of two of the cards using up those scraps.

A Favorite Layout

One of my favorite layouts for cards is to cut 3 strips of paper that compliment each other and attach them to a card front. Then adding stamped sentiments or embellishments to finish off the card. This is also a great way to use those scraps up from other projects.

Products: sentiment: justjohanna stamp; patterned paper and chipboard: Scenic Route; card stock: Bazzill
