Cheater Cards

I call these my cheater cards for on these cards the only stamping done is the sentiments inside the cards that I stamped.    A lot of card designers I find only create cards this way today.  One can buy all the coordinating materials or kits and all they have to do is assemble the card.  A sure hit for a beautiful card even if one is a novice.
Well there will be no post for a few days, hubby and I are leaving the kids and going south for Thanksgiving to spend time with his family.
Materials used K & Company, Paper Studio and May Arts

Finding the Right Pair

No stamping or crafting  yesterday for I spend the day looking for the right pair of boots for my daughter.   We started looking at Macy's and ended back at Macy's after walking and checking the inventory at every department store and every shoe store the mall has.  I must admit I do like her choice, a pair of Coach boots but vowed next year she can do her boot shopping on her own.

Simple Gift Idea

Here is a quick little gift one can make and keep on hand, also makes great stocking stuffers.
Pads of paper can be purchased at Michaels for $1.00, and all you need to do is make a cover for them.

Emergency Holiday Gift Sets

Above is a sample of what I call "Emergency Holiday Gift Sets" that I make and  give out to family and friends for when they need a card NOW and have no time to run out and get one.
The gift sets can have theme's as birthday, children, thinking of you, or can be grouped to make an all occasion set.
All those cards we made for challenges,  just for fun, and our blogs fill these sets up fast.

Celebrating the Season......

Penguins will adorn most of my christmas cards this year.......above is one example of a card I'm making.  I used fun flock on the penguins hats to give a bit of texture to the card.  If you've never used fun flock its easy for you put glue on the area you want flocked,  sprinkle the flock on it, press gently and rub off.

Christmas Tags

Last night I spent the better part of the evening making tags for Christmas gifts.  Above are two of the several idea's I came up with, however for scanning purposes I left off the ribbons that will be attached to each tag.  I detailed the hat by using Fun Flock for the fur.

Loving those cupcake stamps.....

At OBP one can purchase several cupcake stamps that have unlimited uses for making cards. One can also find an array of sentiments to match up with them.  The two different cupcakes above are my favorite ones for coloring and decorating.  Check out www.oddbirdplanet.com
