Theme Thursday-Quotes/Sayings

Challenge this week is to use a quote or saying in ones creation. I used the saying "Good Girls Go To Heaven and Bad Girls Go Every Where" on my card.

Last Minute Card Idea....

Simple cards using only patterned paper and a few stamps. Works well if you don't have the time or stamps to fit the occasion.
Outside of card ( just patterned paper & a bit of chalking on the edges, very effective)
Inside of card (hand patterned paper, RIP is stamped)

Think Monday ATC.....reptiles

Just a little humor to this weeks challenge at Think Monday ATC's. Our Atc's were to" lead us into the impressive world of reptiles" however I had very little to work with in my stamp collection to fit this challenge. Hope you got a little chuckle out of this ATC.

Last Two Weeks

The past two weeks have really flew by for we started out by going to Wisconsin, Dells and site seeing the area, dinning out and spending the day at the Circus Museum.
We came home only to take our Grandson's out on their very first camping trip with us to Kankakee River State Park. The boys really enjoyed themselves and I believe they will carry away some wonderful memories of our time spent together. Below are a few pictures from our adventure. (click on the picture to make them larger) Campground sign we stay at in Wisconsin, Dells....love the saying "for the older kids" on the sign.
Circus World in Baraboo, Wisconsin.....full day of family fun, history and entertainment
One of the many displays of old circus wagons that have been restored from years gone by.
Here I am part of the circus act.... riding a unicycle
One ring circus show
The clowns
First camping trip pictures with our grandsons. Here we are taking a bike ride.
Kids finding an unknown insect...eck!
Making cherry pie and roasting marshmallows part of camping fun
Here we are with our grandkids and two other families in our camping group, eating breakfast.

Traveling In Style

This week we returned to Forest City, Ia. and picked up our new camper which is a Winnebago Sightseer (32 ft) that we fell in love with at the National Rally. After a lot of consideration we decided its was time to move up to a bigger unit which will make traveling a lot more pleasurable when one is on the road for weeks at a time.
Winnebago Sightseer , color Teakwood
Front view...love the large window
Towing our Honda Fit....looks like a toy behind the RV
My comfort chair
Dinette and note the 37" flat screen TV.....loving it.
Galley has a refrigerator/freezer, Microwave oven/convection oven, range and oven.

Sofa/sleeper that automatically inflates at the flip of a switch in 3 min. and deflates in 2 min.Bedroom, queen size bed and the room also has a 20" TV.
Note shown a full size bathroom and the unit supplies us with plenty of storage inside and out.

We also had a chance to go to Minnesota for the day and spent time seeing the Mall of America.
Our next trip is to Wisconsin Dells and then to Kankakee State Park in which we will take our Grandsons for the first time camping.
