Saturday Stampers--Tone on Tone
This week’s theme for our stamping project is “Tone on Tone”. We are to take one colour, any colour, and use different shades of that colour in our project. Everything as in inks, papers and embellishments should be tones of the same colour. I am using Basic Grey Figgy Pudding: patterned paper; Bazzill: card stock; Chatterbox: ink; Sheer Creations: Ribbon; Stamp: unk
This I feel is one of those card that looks better hands on to see the softness of the colours. I will admit also that I found this a challenge also for I'm not found of tone on tone cards generally.

Plumber In The House
Having a second home we are opened to vandalism and that is what happened to us recently. But our vandals/thieves where only after copper pipes and that's what they got, for they tore out all our plumping in our home. Needless to say causing extensive damage and now the house is inhabitable until we can fix it.
So having these stamps by justjohanna, just put me in the mood to make a card for this hurdle.

Saturday Stampers---Tag
The theme for this week is Tag It. You have to use a tag on your project, or make a tag. Here I made a mini album (3 fold outs and one will be pictured)..... in the one opening I inserted 2 tags ( #4 view), to either journal on or place a picture.
Products: patterned paper: Basic Grey Figgy Pudding; chip toppers: Bazzill; shimmer shapes: Scrap Works; Vintage transfers: Melissa Frances; blossoms: Making Memories; vellum quotes: Die Cuts With A View; chip board: Plane Jane; punches: Martha Stewart (boarder and snowflake): stamps: Hero (not shown in these views)

Wednesday Stampers --- Leaves
This weeks challenge on Wednesday Stampers is Leaves....I chose to use a Fern leaf .....and I used a technique on this card called Soot Stamping.
Soot stamping is done by using a piece of white glossy card stock. Using a clean stamp to get a good impression on the soot. A candle is also needed and a sealer.
How to do it: Have the candle lit....and take your piece of card stock (remember to use the glossy side) and hold it at an angle over the flame. Keep the paper moving at ALL TIMES! Moving it in a circular motion, till you see the soot start to form on the front of the glossy side. Once the soot is on the front of the card try to avoid touching it with your fingertips as it will remove the soot. Take a CLEAN stamp and press it into the soot (which will give you a negative image of your stamp). Seal the image with a sealant either a glossy or matte spray fixative. I use a Krylon gloss sealer, spray lightly and let it dry in between coats. Mount your image onto a card. Warning...remember you are working with a candle and paper which are very flammable.
