Mixed Media Monday's challenge for this week is metal and/or metallics. I chose to use metal

Sorry for the scan however with the bulk of the card I wasn't able to get a good scan. However I enjoyed this challenge for it got my creative juices going after being gone a few days on a camping trip.

Just back....

Just spent the pass week in Door County, Wisconsin with our Winnebago Club and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather for each day was in the 80's. We spent the week touring the county, bicycling in Bailey's Harbor, hiking and shopping in the various towns.

As a group we had happy hour each day, went out for dinner a few times, had a pot luck dinner night and the men treated us women to breakfast on Saturday morning. Thank you Guys!

New bikes we purchased in Door County, to take advantage of the fabulous bike trails we came across. We actually biked 9 miles for our first time out.

Happy Birthday Cree!

My sons children pick out the theme for their birthday cake each year and we try to create what they want. We have made several train cakes, a rainbow cake, a panda bear cake to name a few shaped cakes we did. This year Cree ordered a purple smiley cake (purple is his favorite color). As you can see we granted his wish...lol
